Default Hello from Texas!!!

Picked up a used Manco Magnum 2 seater for my kids. Just fixing it for them to enjoy.

Only had 2 stroke hondas and a VW buggy in the past. Trying to learn this go kart stuff.

Here is the buggy when I got it.

It needed new seats, a arms, seat belts etc.

Getting the seats in took some work.

Then added some honda trx90 front wheels. Had to widen and extend the wheelbase to clear the frame.

Trying to squeeze a BS 8hp in now.

Welcome. Look'n good so far-keep us posted on your progress. That was definitely a wedge fit for that style plastic seats to fit. You're going to need either the padded seat covers or a cushion-those seats are HARD on your rear!!!!

Here is my 10yr old on the first ride. The seats are not that bad. I installed ATV shocks on all corners and it lands quite nice.

I had to rework the steering for the second ride and add atv shocks up front.

Here is a mockup of the 8hp BS motor. Its since been bolted in trying to rearrange the chain drive for clearance.

Cant decide if I want to IRS the rear or get a new axle. This 7/8 hex is slightly bent.

Nice job on the dual A-arms and ATV spindles.Tight fit on the engine, will it clear with the shocks compressed?

Thanks. The a arms and homemade knuckles was a challenge but they work great.

I relocated the gas tank and the engine fits nicely. Even with lots of travel.

I started a thread on my chain connection issues.
