manco interceptor??
Has anyone ever used one of these carts? They have a standard centrifugal clutch but with a gear reduction jackshaft.... Do these carts work on hilly terrain?

Give us a pic of the engine/CVT set-up so we can see what you have. Most stock go karts of this type are NOT set-up for hilly terrain, changing sprockets and clutch or driven mod's could make it a hill climber!

I dont own this cart.....I was thinking about buying it. It has a centrifugal clutch on the engine which links to a sprocket on a jackshaft. Then a smaller sprocket on the same jackshaft is linked to the axle sprocket with a seperate chain. It is listed as a gear reduction.

That all sounds very typical for that size kart-without knowing the sprocket sizes it would be difficult to determine if it would climb hills very well.

It sold... I have my eye on a few manco carts with a torque converter. Dingos are popping up all over the place....anywhere from $200 to $1000... I have to keep in mind that I need a cart for my 5 yr old, not for me......
