Default carb jet size?

I have a talon gy6 150, it wasnt running i had no spark, but now i do have spark it will fire with starter fluid but when it drys up it dies, im gonna take my carb off tomorrow and see if the jets are clogged, i was wondering if i should get a bigger main jet or not, its completly stock and was just wondering if that would make any difference or not, i fugured since it was off that i would make the change

Find out what size you have first.- Lean the carb and get it running and see if it needs a different size first. Changing it out really isn't that much work when the carb is clean.

Depending on the year of your buggy rejetting just a bit could make engine run rich unles you increase air intake and exhaust output. The late model buggies 2008 and up run quite lean and a one size jet will help. The early models 2007 and lower will need the exhaust and intake opened up, since these ran fat due to lack of EPA restrictions.
