Default Another helix 150 no spark

Hi everyone I am new to buggy master. I just traded for a helix 150 6150 and it has no spark!!! I replaced the stator, trigger and coil. I can hear som kinda sound from the cdi but not sure exactly how to test it??? would love ride it

BTW have traced and retraced every wireto no avail.

disconnect the kill switch and check for spark.

i have the same problem with mine and bought a new cdi installed it and it popped almost instantly did u find your fix if so can u share the info

you mean the cdi popped as in you blew it? What you need to know about the Helix is that it uses a DC based CDI box. That is unusual. Most other buggies are A/C based so if you put an A/C based CDI box on, it won't last.

Default No spark

I am still sitting on the same problem. I was hoping Buggymaster was gonna give some more info but I have not heard back. Let me know if you figure out what is wrong and will do the same. I have another guy working on it now who knows more than I, but buggies are not his specialty either.

Thumbs down My 2 6150 s,

Well i purchased 2 of them new in late,09.by the end of 3 months had to replace. both fuel caps,front spindle assemblys,on both,upper ball joints pounded out bad desighn there putting al the load on the top ball joint,all the steering link ends there cheap,axle bearings x 3,brake calipers, brake pads every summer, coil connectors .water in controll box,cheap chain stretched real bad,main wire conetion harness shorted out were goes into control box,had no water proofin any were,the 1 kart was driven by a 10 year old an hers had same troubls as mine so its not the .rider.now 527 i nedd another caliper the brak pads inside on the piston side falls out when the pad gets low,thenthe cup, hits the rotor ,now they dont makethe calipers no more they changed the esighn ,of course more$$$$$$$$$,if i had to do it again NO,NO, id buy a honda rapture or a 4 wheeler,

i was out riding 3 miles from home just stopped running no spark,had key ring on me for tools thats it. the wire crimp from the spark plug wire to the plug gave out ,try stippng an cutting an crimpng .the wire with a set of keys,i did, i called the at American sports works they offered nothing

look at coil wires connectors they have the connectors mounted so the water goes right into the boot were the conector is. what they think ya drive in sand in pennsylvania. an ya never get them wett or wash them ,there poor desihgn on the 6150 is bad the RND team lost the challenge to make a good kart

lost spark had to replace the capaciter, to get spark baclk more $$$$$$$$$$$$$

mine was the capaciter.had local honda shop ck it .World of Wheels seneca pa.
