The 300cc engine is neither a CN or CFMoto. It does use some CFMoto CVT parts, but is closer to a Yamaha clone.

I have 2 cranks I purchased for the new Kinroad 300, to put in my 250 engine, and other then having a larger stroke it is identicle to the cn/cf 250. The head is als identicle. You may be referring to the older Kinroad 300 cc which was a yamahe based engine. When you look at the new 300 Kinroad of the few I know who purchased them before Kinroad got out of the US market they thought they had a cn-250 engine. The CN/ CF 250 has a 72mm bore and a 60mm stroke. The 300 has I believe a 71mm bore with a 68mm stroke.

It was still called the pheonix but in 2010 the repowered the buggy with the new 300 CN type. When he asked if CN or CF I just assumed he has the new model. There aren't many of these out there since Kinroad has been banned from importing to the USA and are no longer bringing any new buggies in.
