Default Got the brakes done on the GTR

Man what a beyottccchhh getting those things to bleed (pardon my french). I actually had to take the master cylinder off and give it a could cleaning, put it back together and feed it synthetic brake fluid to make it happy but man is it happy.

A tip to anyone else that goes through this:

This mini buggy uses what I call a tuning fork to drive the front brakes and the back brakes. When you go to bleed it, pull that out, and use something like a 1/4 inch extension of fat phillips screw driver and pump it by hand. It will give you a longer stroke and makes it to where you can bleed either front or back individually without the other interfering.

I bet I went through 40 rags keeping the brake fluid at bay. Man I hate messing with that crap.

you can adjust the brake bias with those rods also. I have a reverse bleeder and its still a pain.
