I am coming out of the shadows-Hello.
I have been lurking around this site since I bought a Yerf Dog 3206 over a year ago. I knew nothing about buggies and had never owned one, or any kind of kart prior to this. I have gained valuable info from this site and decided it was time to join and introduce myself.
I am a 25 year old trapped in the body of a 56 year old. I like the enjoyment of motorized toys and have truly enjoyed the Yerf Dog that I originally bought for my grand-kids (11 year old grand-daughter, 13 year old grand-son). I have been riding motorcycles of all kinds since I was 8 years old. I own a fully dressed touring motorcycle with all the little extras like satellite radio and GPS. I own two 4-wheeler ATV's, a Honda Rincon and a Polaris 500 magnum. I bought the Yerf Dog last March for the kids and I also bought them a Baja minibike for Christmas. I thought the 4-wheelers were too powerful for my grand kids to begin riding and that led to the decision to buy the mini buggy. I had no idea that I would have as much fun on the buggy as they do. We break out the Yerf Dog and Baja every week-end. It has been a great enjoyment in my life for my grand kids wanting to spend every week-end with me and we hit the trails. The Yerf Dog has been ridden hard by all of us and to included my 53 year old brother. We made some trails that cross creeks, and has plenty of hills and gullies. The Yerf has been punished plenty and has needed repairs (just broke a ball joint yesterday) but has held up well considering the way it has been ridden. That is where this site has been invaluable to a newby like me. So thanks to all of you for the information that makes this site so great. |

Thanks Josh. I guess I should have mentioned that I live in Reidsville, NC about 25 miles north of Greensboro and near the VA state line. I also lived in your city of Clarksville for 4 years while stationed at Fort Campbell. Lot of memories there!

I just added the Buggy Depot HD ball joints on Thursday, but the pictures were taken before the change. It needs a battery now. Any suggestions or should I just get it at Walmart?

Welcome!
I've got a 3206 too and it needs a pile of front end work. The spindles were replaced with beefed up ones before I got it, but I just added agri supply 4 on 4 hubs, 4 on 4 rims from agri-supply (5.85x8 I think) , and some used 19 x 7 x 8 front tires off of a crossfire. It made a big difference in the turns, it doesn't slide nearly as much. Soon they're gonna tear the front end off I'm afraid!
