Most of these forums deal specifically with these chinese made buggys.
So I guess we would overwhelmingly say YES. Are there different levels of quality within the spectrum of chinese manufacturers? YES. The better brands tend to be Joyner, Tomberlin, Hammerhead, Kinroad, etc. There are seemingly countless knockoffs of these because the chinese don't respect patents, so they clone each others designs endlessly. For example the Tomberlin Crossfire design is fairly well respected, so BAJA made a clone of it called the Dune 150. It has a lot of the same parts, probably from the same manufacturers, but also has design deficiencies that make it subpar to the crossfire. The machine in your picture looks like a knockoff of the Hammerhead. Even the best machines still benefit from a little tweaking: shocks, engine mods, Etc.

thanx for the reply...i thought several different company's bought there buggys from china and put there name on it i wasn't aware that hammer head say had there own factory and built the buggys....i looking at buying 15, i can get them from china for 900 us each and what looks like the same buggy in the u.s is going to cost the wrong side of 2000 u.s so a chinese clone looks real good. do you really think the hammerhead is 1100+ dollars better than its chinese twin brother?
