Looking for 530 sprocket and hub for 1" axle
I honestly don't post in here as much as I should, but I'm starting to gather the parts needed for a buggy / kart build.
This is going to be something like a go-kart / mini-buggy. I already have the following:
Right now I'm working with the engine / axle combination. I want to get that set before building the rest. The rest should be easy. I'm looking for a 530 hub and sprocket for the 1" axle. While I'm at it, I'm also looking for a hub and disc brake. One where I can use the hydraulic calipers I have scavenged. I'm taking a look at hydraulic pedals this weekend and other odds and ends. Where could I find a good heavy duty sprocket and hub? I want something around 35 - 40 teeth to give me enough low end grunt. I'm not looking for a speed demon. I've entered those numbers into the calculator and that's about right. I've searched high and low and haven't anything I liked yet. Most stuff looks cheap and easily broken. Thanks! |

I think I may have looked there a couple of times. That place has so much stuff it takes forever to sift through it all. |

From what I understand #50 is the same as 530 chain. I ordered a print catalog and I also downloaded the catalog as well. They have some pneumatic stuff that I could use for another project. |

Interesting you mention that. I also have a CB400T that I got running. Seems like a good motor for a build. Or, I can just restore the old bike and make it a cafe racer. One of the two.

I almost scored an '81 CB750 DOHC for about 500 bucks, but it was snatched before I can get to it. I keep checking Craigslist for stuff like that. Okay, so now that I found a sprocket. Now I need a disc brake or two. I plan to use the calipers that I got off the suzuki. |
