i've sent email to all three of their listed addresses plus a direct-contact form on their website.
not a peep back.
i already decided to spend my $ with bmi karting instead of these assclowns, but i was hoping to pile on some abusive taunting if they ever do reply.

here's another, but much worse and dishonest, thing:
he's using "comet clutch" as his email name.
blatant, obvious theft of another company's good name, and fraudulent and deceptive business practice.

Bought some.

Machining is a little hit and miss though.

These losses are due to engineering compromises that always occur when designing an entire power train package. High performance customers and engineers alike do not like the word “compromise”, but it’s a fact of life. Product cost, standardization in tooling, and environmental issues are all things that have to be considered when designing any product. In a CVT transmission, standardization in tooling seams to be the driving force of many engineering decisions. All four major snowmobile manufacturers use the same clutch on a variety of different machines.

Well...

That's a bull**** answere to be honest.

There are good and bad machining practices and there come a time when tooling must be changed and repaired or replaced to hold tollerences tight and provide good surface finnish on parts.

Sure the 30 series is a light weight and the parts inside are full of design compromise, but well made and poorly made is a far bigger issue with the Chinese parts.
