My first mini buggy
I was watching youtube one day, and started watching vidoes about go karts and buggies. I thought they were the coolest things ever and wanted to get one. I went on to craigslist and found a very good deal on a used yerf dog spider box with many upgrades. I had a go kart as a kid but it was a low, no suspension, 5hp briggs go kart. I did a little bit of research and decided on that go kart. It looks so cool!!! Here is a picture of it in the back of my truck.

great looking buggy, get some full pics of it, you should have no problem getting any help needed with that buggy. This is yerfdog central, there are a ton of members here that own the spiderbox, including me.

It looks like whoever owned it put some work into it and kept it up.

I stayed up until 1 last night working on this thing. I cleaned it up, I put in a new battery, I cleaned the carb, I put air in the tires, and I drained some of the oil out of the gearbox and the engine because they both had WAY to much oil in them. Here is a list of the upgrades that came on it.
Shocks Tires Kc lights Rear sprocket Heavy duty chain Keyed switch Hi flow air filter Upgraded spark plug wire Upgraded CDI Added 2nd battery to power KC lights |

Again- Nice looking Spiderbox- are you loading the pic's to your computer? if so then you have the opportunity to rotate them while they're in a folder!!! Thanx for trying as it's sooo hard to view sideways!!
So how well does it drive? |

I need to make the back suspension less stiff and it doesnt steer very well. It is so fun to drive though. It is kind of slow because the previous ownew put a larger sprocket on it. It is also very loud. The canopy thing on top is a nice feature.

Is there anything that I should do to this go kart to make it even better?

it has the equal arms ... from the looks of it, most of the common modifications have been done to it. the shocks look aftermarket already. if the back end continues to bounce a couple times after hitting a pretty good bump at speed, then yes, they're too stiff. take some close ups of the spindles, f/r shocks. it looks like you got a nice one with a lot of work already put into it. maybe just needs the rack mod and eventually a rear axle upgrade.
