Newby questions!!!
Hey everyone, Im new to the site and to the Yerf Dog 4209 I got this weekend. I purchased for my 2 boys, and me..lol. I dont know anything about them at all, I thought it looked cool and the price was right ! It came with new carb, he gave me the original one too. they look the same to me. He told me it came factory w 32 mm and the new one is a 36mm?? It runs great, idles fine, but, on WOT, it doesnt seem to accel very fast, like it bogs or at rev limit..?? Also , it turns right awesome, left not so much, like turning radius is off. any ideas?....Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

Hi Mike. really could use more information. does your buggy have the stock 150 CC Howhit engine on it. Does it still have the stock airbox and exhaust? I am not a yerf dog guy but I believe we have the same engine. Mine came stock with 24mm carb. I have upgraded to a 30mm pumper carb and I have a lot of upgrades and engine work. I believe the carbs you mentioned may be too big.Like I said I am no yerf dog expert. I am sure if you take Bear's advice and stay patient 1 of these guys will get on here and for surely help you. as for your steering issues, I encountered a similar problem after rebuilding mt buggy. The answer for me was to adjust the connecting rods. By looseing the end nuts from the connecting rods and adjusting the over turning wheel first away from the frame, then adjusting the other side until booth wheels were straight. Hope this helped.
