Hello Buggy Owners
I have posted here before but thought I would introduce myself to the group...I recently bought a used ASW Zircon (2010) followed 2 weeks later buying MetalMotorSports (2011). I paid $1,700 for the 2 karts combined. Both were in fine working order but my 18 and 24 yr old sons have driven them like "I paid for them and not them". We have had to replace tires on the Zircon (worn out when I bought it) , steering ball-joint of the Zircon (multiple tree crashes), seat belts for MM (both seat belts were questionable), new battery for Zircon, and new chain for Zircon. Oh and a house with 2.5 acre wooded backyard (now go-kart track) in Upstate SC. In my opinion the Zircon is more fun to drive due to 2-wheel braking, great for drifting, and it is about 19 inches shorter than the MM. The MM is clearly higher build quality (4 wheel disc brakes, better suspension, better seats, little longer leg room) but not as wild to drive fast down woodland trails.
