Need a reverse end cap

I need the "end cap/bell/cable tensioner" I have no clue what its called it's circled in the pic


and how does it work? Couldn't I just get a small block of metal and fab that up? It looks like it's just a piece of metal with 3 holes in it.

it's basically a tube for the cable housing end that allows the shift fork shaft to be pulled outwards during the shift. the inside diameter of that cap has to be larger than the shaft end PLUS the snap ring that holds the cable end in place. In caps because that's where i goofed when i fabbed one up--made it clear the shaft and forgot about the snap ring around it. Xlint89, soapkart or T3beatz made one pretty simply, pics are in one of their yerf threads.

Well I feel better, and you guys all had a similar gearbox end? If you wouldn't mind, could you post some pictures/measurements?

(Asking because they have so many I have no clue where to look

Well, after emailing the person that I bought the gearbox from, he dug around in an old box and found it. Hooray. Problem solved

Thanks! However, I now have my hands on it. I'll definitely keep GPS in min when I need other parts!
