Question powering accessories

Hi Folks,
I'm about to start my custom dash project on my trailmaster 150, and I need some advice. Where is the best place to grab some key-on voltage to power things? I've bought a bunch of electrical quick connectors that match the ones used on my buggy and was going to attache additional wires to the one of the leads under the existing dash and re-crimp the connector. Basically I have an aluminum instrument/gauge housing that I'm replacing the dash on my trailmaster with. I'll be transferring my ignition, headlight switch, and engine kill switch into the new dash as well as installing a voltmeter into it. Also, I'll be attaching a trailtech Vapor onto the top of the housing and powering it from one of the additional leads. I figure someone here has done it before..
