gy6 150cc floods really easy
My 150cc gy6 doesn't wanna go or idle when the gas is on, and it floods really easy but when the gas is turned off and it isn't flooded anymore it wants to go with no problem, I have to start it up with the gas off then after i get going i have to turn the gas on and just half way. I have a fuel filter on it but it doesn't seem to be slowing it down any, i do know it is a filter and not suppose to do that. It has a new choke on it, and it isn't smoking any. To me it is just getting way to much gas, and it has the stock jet in it. It has been doing this for awhile but i just now decided to do something. I have another carb and was thinking of replacing them but i wanted to hear what everyone had to say. Thanks

Have you checked your pilot jet (make sure it is 1.5-2 turns out from seated). Check you float clearance. Float height should be 18mm.
Start there maybe.

verify the choke (FEV) is working correctly. otherwise sounds like float level or float needle has debris or dried gas crud buildup on the seat..

Tap your csrb with the butt end of screwdriver. If she stops flooding then your float is getting stuck or something.
