Default 2005 Tomberlin Punisher

Supposed to be buying a used Tomberlin punisher this week. Price is very cheap and supposedly it just needs rings. Figured since i have an almost new piston and top end available, i may as well buy it. Anyway i was going to purchase a few parts like a new cdi and some other things to make sure it runs smooth. Anyone know if this buggy has an AC or DC CDI?

Thanks bear. Just hoping the kid doesnt back out or is a no show like he did with my buddy. Supposedly only needs rings and he wants 250 for it.

Thanks Zman, i confirmed that with Tom. How does it seem to run compared to the newer buggies? I take it the Howhit motor is a little better than the knockoff gy6?

I can"t compare it to newer buggies since all I have is the 2 crossfires. as far as the Howhit engines they seem to be great engines.
