Default can they fly?

I'm curious has anyone tried any good jumps with their buggy? I eventually would like to mod mine to handle mild jumping! Is this even realistic?

So JD, it appears your buggy flys quite well, at least is doesnt dive! Did you make any adjustments for this or is it natural??

seems to be natural, those videos are the first time i tried jumping it.

it started out as this............

and ended up as this, if you call that an adjustment.

here is a link to the thread i started posting here on the build, from last year.

this was the original thread on BN.....http://buggynews.com/jd-s-joyner-400...ne-t41969.html

The talons, with their frame design , the front wheels set back from the front end of the frame don't make for very good jumpers. The swing arm rear suspension tends to kick the rear high and causes that extended front "nose" to dig in. In effect, you flip end over end. Not pretty! Your lucky to walk away!
Tom Stevens @ Kidinme was the first to actually get a flip on film. Tom had just receives his very first buggy and had his son filming his riding. It was one of those" Hey yall! Watch This!" moments. Took a jump wrong, the buggy nosed dived and did a series of endo flips. Tom received some back injuries he still feels at times. That flip was infamously dubbed the "Kidinme maneuver" and is still referred as such to this day.

my wife tried jumping her taken and literally nose planted it. It stood on its nose til i walked over and pushed it back on its wheels. She bailed but her sister was still hanging there strapped in the seat belts. My only regret was i didnt have a camera because the chances of this ever happening again are probably nil.

JD, I dont do the facebook thing but enjoy watching the videos and the links of your build. What an awesome makeover. Maybe I need different style buggy or need to give mine a change now that I have something to actually work with.
