confused in ct.......
So I rewired my kinroad 250..... According to what was supposed to be a universal wiring diagram...... Some things just not right does anybody know where I can get the exact wiring diagram for my 2010 kinRoad 250...... And can somebody explain to me exactly what my and what el and what else my rectifier regulator does besides steady the voltage....... I I do know how to read schematics very well as I've been an electrician for 15 years. DC is just a little.different..... And I'm trying to understand the concept of what my components do to make sure all functions........... My CDI box has 4 pins and then another 2 pin connector on it....

Typically you can run without the regulator as it is only a source of stable power for your aux devices such as lights, 12v charging port, horn, ect. From what I understand most stators can produce 90+ volts and the regulator reduces this amount and keeps you from constantly blowing bulbs. I am not an electrical guy by any means so if that doesn't make sense someone can correct me. Currently I am running with out my rectifier but also with out lights horn ect.

The CDI does many things. Most of which I am ignorant of how ever what I do i know is I have traced some of the wires and found that in the two prong plug one goes to kill the other is stator power on the four prong you have a ground (or two if 6 wires to the plug) one "hot" wire to ignition and a trigger wire for the coil to get your spark.

Are you currently producing spark at the plug?

Also I imagine that the same concepts are true for all motors however I am basing off my gy6
