Default Need help with gy6 gearbox w/reverse

Need some help, picked up a new kart over the weekend and was told it needed some trans work. After I picked it up and opened up the case I found most of the gear box is missing. If you look at the pic I only have the parts in pink. I priced out all the missing parts and it's well over $450 . This gy6 has bulit in reverse. Looking to see if I should just get a new gy6 at that price. Or see if anyone has a used one

There are few threads where people replaced the stock engine with something bigger Maybe hit up the people in those threads to see if they still have the stocker.

Those engines with internal reverse are somewhere around 900.00. What make buggy do you have?

That looks to be a Roketa GK28. The engine assembly looks just like the ASW type engines as used in the Helix and Carbide models. You can go to the ASW website and download the free parts manual and service manual and compare it to your engine. If it looks the same you can e-mail me the ASW part numbers and I can price them for you.
