I called him just to ask if it was registered, he said no. I asked why his ad said it was street legal? He said all you need to do is take it to DOT and get a tag..lol
A brand new kinroad is about the same price he is asking for his. |

I don"t know about Boca Raton, but you just wouldn't stroll into a SC dot and get a tag that easy.

Even with lights and fenders, FLDOT will make you jump through hoops to get a valid registration, and likely will not allow it to be used on street depending on the VIN designation used by the manufacturer. There is a reason it is still for sale.

It's still for sale because he wants as much money as it cost to buy some new buggies.
There are a lot of golf carts registered down here as low speed vehicles. They are allowed to drive on streets with low speed limits. I guess if you put a windshield, DOT approved tires and all required lights you may get a low speed vehicle registration. |
