Default Engine dies on rough terrain

recently purchased an old Yerf dog and refurbished it. I've owned it about three weeks and no issues with the engine running.
However this morning as we rode it through the fields as we hit small bumps etc the engine starts dying in direct relation to the bumps.
I thinking the float in the carb?
Actually now that I think about it maybe the kill wire is grounding somewhere when I hit bumps.

The only thing that I messed with before it was doing this was the governor. Moved it from 2 hole to 4 hole. Moved it back tonight and still doing it.
I bet the kill switch wire is grounding out somewhere where I can't see. That stupid thing is routed the most awkward way and I can't even see it.
BTW there is no battery.... It's an old pull start tec 6hp

Yep, followed the green wire and sure enough, somebody spliced the wire but didn't even cover the connection. So it was grounding out....

He's got the Yerf 3203 with the 6.5 HP Tecumseh engine on it. Not the GY6 150.
