How to test Solenoid
Installed new fully charged battery, new starter. Before installing the starter it click (I think it was the solenoid clicking) now it doesn't click.
Also, if it's possible... I need a diagram of the fuel lines from the Carb. To where they're supposed to go to... I know where the gas line goes, my question is really where the air vacuum line go connection to? Maybe one goes to the coolet hose? Picture's would help a lot! It's a CN250 Thanks!! |

My cf250 had a coolant line that went to the carb but it really was worthless. You can eliminate it. It's supposed to warm the carb up but it only flows through such a small port it really is useless.
There was a vent towards the top of the carb and IIRC one vacuum line from the intake manifold. Sorry I don't have pics because I sold my 250. |

Wasn't sure if there was any help in the solenoid, but you can test it by connecting battery positive and negative to it and see if it energized.
Let me know if everything worked out |

You can hook the battery to the positive and negative on the solenoid and check continuity on the other 2 legs of the solenoid. If it's bad it will be closed with no batter voltage applied or if there is batter power and no continuity on the other 2 legs.
