Hi Gator1! What type of riding will you being doing mostly and what is your goal? I mean, are you mostly flat track type riding, trail riding, big hills? Are you looking for more top speed or more pulling power for things like hills?

Hi. I'm Josh. I'm kinda famous around here. Anyway, about the Carbide, what kind of riding do you think you will be doing? Trail riding where low end power is more necessary than top speed? Or, will you be riding a flat track where just the opposite is necessary? One thing I can tell you now is where I buy all of my parts. Just go to the homepage of this site and look to the left side of the page where the vendors are.

Looks like you are headed in the right direction. Be sure and update your progress on your upgrades as well as the results they produce. I will add that for trail and hill climbing alot of people feel that shock and tire upgrades are a must. I ran a tire poll on another forum and the popular tires came in as Interco Swamp or Mudlites for the rear and Kenda front max for the fronts. Yamaha blaster shocks seem to be popular rear replacements.
