2006 carter 150cc race build
I just got a 2006 carter 150cc. I heard its a gy6 clone engine. I wanna make it way faster. heres some of the parts i'm looking at.
first, how do clutch springs make a difference? for example 1000rpm, 1500rpm and 2000rpm springs? Im looking to get a 30mm carb/intake, A9 camshaft, race head, 58.5mm bore kit, race clutch, vibrator kits, final gear kits, gear kits, fans, clutch bells, etc. what are the best power upgrades? can the replica engine handle the upgrades? or should I replace the crankshaft? what TC/CVT parts should I get. im wanting way better acceleration and get 45-50mph if possible. i'll upgrade the brakes as well. like I said I need better acceleration and way better top speed. how can I change the rpm limiter and how high of rpm could I make it? should I do a 63mm kit and modify the engine case? what does it mean to modify the engine case? does it have a CDI? from what I read the A9 cam will add low end and top end power. 58.5mm cylinder kit with a high compression piston should bolt up without modifying the engine case. heres the engine kit link. it does fit mine right? http://www.ebay.com/itm/172192733111...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Last edited by truitt; 05-31-2016 at 02:13 PM. |
