Default Carbide misfire under load and full throttle

Hi I have just gotten a carbide and feels like it is misfiring under load at full throttle, what could cause this? I am going to check valve lash later this week.

Thanks Mike

Cool

I've had similar problem on a few buggy's I've owned . It was vibration - and the spade connecters on the coil . Would look clean and tight , but run on jackstands in poor light you could see a spark jumping in conjunction with the miss . Would also appear on damp humid days . Super clean , extra tight , and a shot of silicone spray cured mine . While you're at it spray down all your wiring harness , connections , and components as I've seen other Gremlin sparks jumping around in the past . Amazing what you can see in the dark !

First make sure the gas is good. If using ethanol blended fuel even 10% and it has been more than 2 weeks since it was pumped from the gas station replace with fresh. Check that the air filter is not dirty. Make sure the connections at the coil are tight. Also remove your fuel cap and shake, you should hear a little rattle. Inspect the inside of fuel cap for any distortion. The older ASW buggies had caps that were not compatible with the ethanol blended fuel and after time the cap inside would look like it is melted. Google for your area non ethanol blended fuel and only use that fuel.
