Default Winter Wonderland Ride pics

Ok since IMHO Winter officially sucks I say we make lemonade from the lemons we've been given. Here are some pics of the aftermath from our most recent winter ride. Let's see your winter day ride pics. These were from last weekend, would have posted some from this weekend but been down with the flu since Thurs. nite.

Amazingly, I think we had more snow than that about two weeks ago. It was a blast. The way this winter has been going I suspect we will have more snow before it's all said and done.

Yeah this one was a blizzard the wind was blowing so hard we did not get complete depth coverage but the drifts were anywhere from thigh to waist high in some areas.

How do your buggies do in the snow? Ours seemed to have some limitations. By that I mean, it was all fine and dandy till it got to about 8 inches or so. From that point it really had to work to get through it and even then you weren't flying through it. When you ran it long enough downn the same trail so to speak it was fine after you flattened out the path.

That is pretty much how ours were 4-6" the did ok any deeper they really had to work. I have full intention on switching to 22x11x10 Swamp or Mudlites on the rears and 21x7x8 Kenda front max tires very soon as well as some engine mods. Gotta install a 155 kit on my HH and sell it first though. If I got a decent run into some of the deeper stuff it did ok as well, but my son who is new to all this had no luck in this are he got stuck alot and his Runmaster is a little quicker than mine even though I beat him in a side by side race it was all dictated by the driver. His clutch and variator engage almost immediately on acceleration and break the rear tires loose and you are motivating.

Nice pics I was going through some spots that were around 9" just nothing real fast it likes to dig in like soft sand it takes close to 11" to bottom out the skid plate on the Kinroads we have.

i have 2 promlems.if the snow is wet or soft and fluffy than it is hart to go through but if it is simi packed than i am fine.qne other factor is bottoming out.i am working on skies for it so there will not be as much understeer and it will ride higher in the frone.

I think once I upgrade our tires and do the mods I have in mind mine will eat the snow alive! lol I was really pleased with their performance for stock. They did much more than I was expecting out of them for all stock.
