Idle issues, Crossfire 150r
I've had this weird issue with my Crossfire 150r idling for a while now and I don't know how to fix it. When I start the engine it revs up pretty high, almost enough to make the clutch engage, and only does it during the first couple minutes of driving. After driving it around for longer than 5 minutes or so, when I come to a stop the idle is too low and it will die. I have to keep touching the throttle to keep it running. I have messed with the idle screw on the throttle cable to make it idle normal after driving but if I cold start it a day or so after, it will rev up high. I'm wondering if the carb needs cleaned or if I need to readjust the valves, or if there is another idle screw somewhere.

I'd check to make sure your vacuum hose is hooked up and doesn't leak. I'd also check the intake manifold for leaks as well. Adjusting the valves is a good idea too.

Sounds fine to me . Your fuel enriching circuit is working ( choke ) your Idle speed screw comes into play only AFTER ! the engine and ( choke ) solenoid have come up to temperature .
