Front end alignment
I have followed the procedure in my users manual to align the front end of my carbide but it still pulls to the left. Nothing looks broken or bent on the suspension. What am I missing?

Inflate tires to specified psi. , than measure circumference ( not height ) and compare front pair , and rear pair for difference . Not uncommon to find two same type and size tires with different measurements . Adjust by air pressure .
Or is the suspension unequal side to side , weight distribution ( driver / no passenger ) might have to adjust shock spring rate , or swap shocks left to right or vise / versa .

The recommended psi is 15 for the front. Seems low to me. I don't have a gauge that reads that low

Most ATV tires are anywhere from 5 - 15 lbs. psi. Buy a low pressure tire gauge . Uneven air pressure will surely make it pull . And that goes for the rear tires as well .

Yep! the rears are just as important as the front. Air pressure in the rear tires affects the circumference of the tire. More pressure means a taller tire. If the right rear has more air it will push to the left. It's an old dirt track trick, air down the inside tire makes it turn to the left a little better. Nowadays they call it "wheel stagger" On the family grocery getter you don't notice because of the limited slip differential. On a solid axle it's very apparent. |
