New guy from NY
Hey guys,
just stumbled on this forum - looks great! I'm a dad with two boys (age 8 and 4), and i've finally come to the conclusion that the old fashioned Power wheels (fisher price) just wont cut it. I didnt grow up in a dirtbike/go-kart/ATV household, so this is all pretty new to me. was poking around on line and i think a 110cc/150cc would be a great starter buggy for the boys, something they could both enjoy for a few years? i'll be poking around, but welcome any thoughts on the journey im about to partake in! Welcome to the addiction. At ages 8&4 the 150 will be too big. depending on size of 8 yr. old 110 may work unless you are planning to drive the kids then by all means 150 is the way to go. Just don't go with the cheapest buggy. They may look alike but they are not. Kinroad, Trailmaster, Hammerhead are all good buggies. If buying used stay away from Carter for they are out of business and parts are difficult to impossible to find.

I agree with Tom, if your just going to enjoy wattching them ride, by all means the 110cc is the ticket. It was the first buggy I ever bought, for my daughter, and is what got me hooked! 3seed semi automatic, with reverse, and plenty of "pep" for them, at that age. I even took a few spins in it, and immediatly started looking for my own proper sized one! A warning though, once you get one for them, you're gonna want one for you!!!!!!!!!
