Default Odyssey top end speed.

You all might get a good laugh out of this....

I have been wondering since I bought this thing just fast it will go? Well I finally conned my wife into trying too pace my Odyssey with her Yukon the other evening. We went up on a road not far from or home, and I let it rip for about a 1/4 of a mile on a flat road. When we got home, she claimed she was running 70 mph. I asked her if she was sure, because I didn't think it would run that fast, but She swore that's what her speedo showed.

I was still in a bit of disbelief, so I had to do it again only this time i borrowed a GPS and strapped it to the steering wheel.

I rode it back over to the same stretch of road to do it over again. I made two runs and on the first run at just over 50 mph I ran it out of gas, and had to pull over to switch to reserve to get it going again. So I turned around & started over again the other direction. On the top end it did sputter a little bit that I don't remember it doing the day before, so I got out of it. I am guessing it may have leaned out, possibly because the fuel was really low and it was on reserve??

Any way here are the results from my little "Test"

Just curious, has anyone else checked to see what top end is on your buggys, or am I the only big dork on here?

Yes, this 350 runs pretty strong. I need to dig out the GPS and go back out again since I have had the top end apart. It feels like it runs a bit stronger now.

No surprise to me. Those are awesome machines! Very cool! I never did get a chance to top speed check our Honda Pilot. It's not real neighbor friendly.
