spiderbox 3206 seats
anybody have any ideals on putting padding on the seats of my spiderbox? My old butt needs something, but I want it to look good.

I've been hunting for a cheap alternative seat for my wife's for awhile-I bought 3 Mustang seats from a wrecking yard for $25. each. I just put this one in my kart to try them out, also the other 2 seats they gave me were electric when they were to be manual. I'll post the install in the Spiderbox as soon as I get them swapped out.SO COMFORTABLE!!!! As you can see in the pic my space for a seat is much tighter than a Spiderbox.

now thats a good ideal. I havn't had mine during the winter yet. I guess you could get one of those John-deer cabs and put on it so you will have a/c in summer and heating in the winter and also be protected from the rain. Think that might work?

you mean the buckets out of a miata will match the buckets in the yerfs??? Same diminsions????
Those seat covers for the buckets can be had at either Summit or Jegs. They are a must! So much more comfortable! You can go a step further by cutting strips of close cell memory foam, fit to the sides , where your butt bone hits, along the base of your spine and any other contact areas. the foam can be form shaped to custom fit your shape. The foam gives a slight air space between the plastic and the cover which creates a nice cushion. Use contact cement to hold it place then slip cover on. Don't cover the slots in the seat bottom. these slots give some air flow under the cover to help cooling and allow water , trash or whatever to get out! |

gunluvinfull- what post # do you want to move or delete.
Ckau- The Miata seats fit right in,same width. As I didn't get them cause he wanted too much for them (they had speakers in the headrest!).Sorry I didn't measure the adjuster base for alignment with factory hole in the Spiderbox. As I found most car seats are 20" - 22" wide, the space allowed is 44". Since I angled the drivers seat to get your leg off the frame I only have 42". I'll take pics as soon as I get them swapped out. |

Those covers look totally radical,I love them. How much are they each? Well I posted here I have 2 plastic racing /yerf/buggy seats here free for you pay the shipping I lost my pics on the computer they are on craigs list for 25.00 takes both in general section. I would be more than happy to send them to sum 1 who NEEDS THEM if they pay shipping. I can do paypal also I have 2 accounts on ebay so I am trustworthy. I will give the seats, away I found them while out scrapping. I live like 15 minutes from summit racing.

I think that's about right. I can't remember what I paid either but it was about that price. I like those Summit covers. The stiching is different, larger padding areas and they look like they fit better than the Jegs covers.
