Great Price on 150cc's
Hey guys, I got 2 Howhit Yerfdog engines mounted on the original swingarms from ******** ebay site.
They are factory returns from the YERFDOG days gone by. Received them today. Oil looks brand new, plugs look like they have been run a handful of times, CVT belt and variators look like new, intake and exhaust ports clean. I am gonna tear one down and hopefully use the engine parts to put my Crossfire 150R Howhit back together. $75 each plus freight. paid $170 in freight.

I bought a couple of those and the motors were perfect performers. That's pretty cheap for a near new engine!!!

There's been a few of us us that jumped on that deal. Got a couple myself! When those howetts are sold out, thats it! no more to be had!
It's a shame , best clone motor ever built. |

Hey guys what's the piston size on the howhits? Isn't it different from the other GY6's? I would love to buy one of the extras from BMI, but I just spent all my monthly budget for play on parts for my axle.

I think Howhit's are 57mm with the other GY6 150's being 57.4mm

Are you going to remove the long drive shaft out of for your Crossfire to get reverse to work? The engines look just like new ones!!!!!

You wouldn't have to split the case if you just swapped the drive shaft!!

The Crossfire 150R has internal reverse, so I got no choice.

Got the engine together friday, bolted up saturday, and running today.
Still need new battery and ignition switch. Then I can tie up some loose ends on it.
