smoke signals

hey guys a little while back i posted a thread why no bang? and got some good advice from tom about what the problem was. i adjusted my valves to 004 like tom advised and sure enuff both buggy's fired right up and run smooth, but heres the thing, now both buggy's r smoking a bit is it because of me cranking them over when the valves where tight? n loading up the cylinder heads or am i into another issue now with the head n rings?
