Default Adjusting Hydraulic Brakes (with pics)

two things I want to accomplish:

1-I would like when I push the brakes, it pushes the rear brakes harder, and the front brakes softer. Basically, brake and turn doesn't work well because when I push the brakes, my front wheels lock up so turning doesn't happen.

2-I have to push my brakes hard before my brake lights come on. I would like them to come up with little pressure.

see attached picture below. I am not certain how this gizmo works, but it looks like the two front brakes are on the right side, and the rear brake/brake light is on the left. if my theory is correct, I can loosen the right side, and tighten the left side to get what I want.

can someone let me know if my theory is correct? if not, is it possible to do what I want to do with my equipment? thanks.

Those rods are adjustable. One does the front one does the back. Break looks the nuts that hold the rods where they are and turn them in or out to accomodate what you are looking for and then lock the nut back down. repeat until you get what you are looking for.

I have nothing to add, other than asking where I might find a single piston version of this master? I sure would like one for my Herf-Dog project.

Hey, remember, there are no "silly" questions, just unasked ones!!!
