2002-2003 Carter 150cc??
Was looking at swapping an old boy on craigslist. It looks to be in good shape but as of now he says it needs a new stator and battery. How can i tell if its just the stator and battery? I am tempted as i have all these extra parts to get rid of and no takers as of yet. He was asking $400 for it but he said he would take a tv i dont use as trade. He also says he put in a new piston and camshaft in 2008. Whats your thoughts? I dont know much about the carters and with it being 10 years old it looks in pretty good shape.

Thanks for the input bear, but the swap has ben put to rest. Guy didnt want to answer any questions about the buggy, so its no loss to me. Probably more hassle than it was worth anyway.
