Default All still works on buggy except.......

My high beam and low beam headlights and tail lights still work-my turn signals left and right front and rear still work-the emergency lights both front and rear still work-the fog lights still work-even the small light to light up a license plate or vanity plate still work........but the horn does not. mancoman

pop the wires off the horn button and touch them together --horn beeps, button bad. horn doesn't beep, wiring or horn bad. At that point, feed fresh wires to the horn to check which. DK if the engine has to be running or not for it to work as is.

i'm sticking one in myself this week. my neighbor the scrapper popped one in my truck the other day as a surprise, turns out its a 6v one from an old yamerhaw. rather than run a resistor, he's scrapping an old escort tomorrow and tossing me that one. for a buggy with a bracket in place, a new one from Tom may be the way to go. . Mine didn't have one, so it doesn't matter what i throw at it ...just no general lees ... lol ...

Hope to get over tommorrow and see once and for all if it is the horn itself.I can live with out it but for saftey reasons could keep from a head on with a on coming quad or other trail vehicle in a blind spot or curve. mancoman
