Default 1st mods to the new Carbide

Parts from a supporting vendor arrived today (Uni-filter, intake tube with adapter, 130 jet, 12 gram slider weights, and replacement oil filter) 1500 rpm spring is on back order and will be here later this week. Son and I went to work getting everything on and changing the oil. No problems with the parts and thanks to Eric for the exceptional service. So the mods are on and oil changed with fresh 10w-40 Syntec and off we went for the test drive! Amazing the difference.......pulls harder from take off and even gained 2 mph on top end. The engine definitly sounds opened up and a lot stronger. I am looking forward to seeing lil'man rip it up at the sand pit next time, should be a great time. Thanks to the members and this forum with advice.

Nothing better than father son time spent modding the buggy. Priceless.

And it has been a great time, he's out in the garage every time wanting to turn a wrench too. I showed him all about the carb, intake and variator when we did the mods yesterday. Much more fun to come.
