Hammerhead 200 gt
does anybody know anything about a HAMMERHEAD 200 GT i can't find much about them online i have a chance to buy one for around 700. but it won't go forward or reverse but it looks new, he said it's been sitting in the shed for years, oh on another note the parts for the fox carbide should be here late this week the MAGNETO was bad and i'm trying to figure out the best place to get a top end for the crossfire 150r, any advice would be great. thanks

The hammerhead 200 is a 150cc with an internal reverse. If the belt or clutch isn't the problem then you have to go into the internal transmission.
They called it a 200 because they were supposed to sell a kit to upgrade it to a 200cc motor, that never happened. |

From what I've read, it's one of the more difficult transmissions to get parts for. I've never tried myself though.

Hey, Zman yes it is a Howhit 1P57QMJ is what the number on the case says it is a external rev and looks just like your picture can you help me in any way sure would appreciate it. And Liduno i read that transmission parts are not available for the gt200 anymore but the carbide motor should be a perfect swap according to what i read, not that i'm looking to take the motor off our carbide, just got all the parts for the carbide from the post office a little while ago if i get time tomorrow i will work on it. Thanks for all the in put

Parts for the 200GT are very scarce if available at all. The ASW motor will fit the chassis but the concern is will the sprockets line up. If you are capable of fabricating I would go with the original GY6 with external reverse. You can build more power into them if power if what your looking for. Due to the fact the buggy will not drive 700.00 is high for a 9yr. old buggy. I would only offer 300.00 tops.

I asked because I actually have some parts for that tranny, the shipping would have made it too expensive any way. |
