Default Gy6 model number

I have been reading here about the model numbers of GY6 motors. The number on my motor ( low on the crankcase on the passenger side ) is JL1001-24B. What does that mean. Does not seem to match up to anything you guys are talking about. It is on a new ASW Carbide. Let me know. Thanks

Default GY6 model number

Nothing on the drivers side.ASW says the motor is a Chinese version of the GY6 but is not exactly the same. They say all parts are interchangeable with GY6???. They say if I want parts for the motor I use the model number.7150. But now what if I want to buy parts from an after market supplier????Any one have any ideas. It would help. Again the numbers on my motor are JL1001-24B. Maybe buggy master has some ideas.
