Default starts and dies

roketa gk150 with gy6 belongs to neighbor had at a shop coulnt fix brought to be????? starts and dies sometimes doesnt start,when starts runs at high rpm which of course causes it to move then dies.never worked on a buggy before.help

First thing you are going to have to do is pull that carb apart. I'd bet it is pretty dirty in there.

cleaned carb,replaced low tension swirch replaced vaccum lines,will start nine times out of ten,started ran all day yesterday,last night would not start.there was no fuel flow but is unclear if loosing spark,occaisionally surges and headlights are dim and horn doesnt always work,could it be a ground issue.

i would check the vent in gas cap
