Default Picked up this stray Yerf-Dog#30032 a few days ago.

I may have gotten into more than I really need too. I am not sure what the first step to do is. The clutch is missing pieces and the jackshaft bearings are shot. So far I only have about $100.00 into this cart, but it looks like there will be more hundreds to come. Any suggestions? The torque converter says comet 20 on it, but all the info i have read says this cart takes a comet 30. i took a few pictures so maybe you can help me.

Decent buy for 100. the 20 on the TC refers to the pulley/belt angle iirc. It is amazing how fast these things can inhale the cubic dollars. Look to your supply house type places for replacement bearings--get the old ones out and measure OD, ID and width and youshould be able to replace them alone.

Looks like the TC driver is there, just the driven is missing. That being said all the rust on the driver would make me want to just replace both pieces.

I really don't like how they left the exhaust off and let rust get into the port

My son has the same model, the factory TEC motor came off the day it came home, first the kart got a NR racing clone motor, it proved to be a little too much power for him so I swapped that out for an electric start 6.5 clone which he loves. Has enough power for him and being able to start it from the seat really thrills him.

Welcome- Great looking kart- the hood is cool! Does it run? you do have the #30 series clutch. If the clutch pulleys aren't pitted too bad it might clean up and function,(had many look worse that worked). The driven isn't worth replacing parts on, just buy a new one, they also sell the jackshaft/driven plate as a unit. Verify it runs first- then move to the CVT.
