Update on the carbide
So, I found out that the teeth on the output shaft of the engine were still there and I'm not going to have to replace that, so, I just bought the replacement parts myself (11g sliders, new fan plate, and new main drive belt). I'll be using the original variator instead of buying a performance one like I had. The parts got here today and I should have the buggy back up and running by tomorrow or Friday. In all of this, there is one question I have. Does anyone know how many foot pounds of force should hold the bolt that holds the fan plate on? Thanks for any info.

You might find that in the service manual that is a sticky thread in the tech section.
Glad you have it figured out. Hope you are back running soon. |
