Default Insuring my Buggy

Ok, here's my experience insuring my buggy

Most companies wouldn't give any quotes
on the phone unless I went to their insurance
company located in my local area.

Even my own Auto/Home insurance company, Allstate.

The only company that didn't require this and
took my information and gave me a quote was
GEICO.

They had no problem finding the make and model
for the HH ss 250cc in their system.

GEICO's Quotes
$67 per year - Liability Insurance Only

$206 per year - Full Coverage
(For me and my 14y.o. Daughter Only as the operators of the Buggy)

Now, I got the information and telephone number to
my local Allstate agent and I gave him a call.

I stated to him that Allstate is my insurance provider for my
home and autos and I was interested in getting an insurance quote
for my new ATV. He stated no problem , we can do this over the phone.

He came back with these quotes:

$75 per year - Liability Insurance Only

$223 per year - Full Coverage
It's approximately $18.60/month.
(For Everyone living in my household are covered)

Well I liked the idea of everyone in household being covered,
so I decided to go with the full coverage from Allstate. Just in case my wife decides to tag along.

I know it's a bit more than Geico, but I rather have all
my policies with one company also. It was only $17.00
more going with Allstate.

================================================== =====

One of the largest problems in getting insurance is the fact
that they may not have the buggy listed.

Geico & Allstate found it, but not under the make/model
listed on my title.

But they found it under TWISTER HAMMERHEAD
They didn't recognized the Make: TJ Power Sports

If you guys considering insuring your buggy, my opinion is to
check these companies out first.

1. Geico
2. Progressive
3. State Farm
4. Allstate
