^^^^^^

The kid jumping the bike reminds me of me back inteh 70s with my 3-spd ross barracuda. awesome!

My daughter took my camera one day this past fall and shot about 200-300 pics with it ...among them i found this one--and only one. I'd be more than happy to see and get composition like this into a shot -- floored me.

Only thing to make that better was if your buddy was off to the side with the shotgun ready.

If you like heavy duty fabrication, here's my buddy's shop and projects photo page. Check out the pics of the Drexel spiral staircase. He's currently doing the stairs for the Statue of Liberty.

^^when men were men ... "Hey guys, wave for the camera!" )))) Somewhere i have a copy of motorsport with a picture of some guy in india or someplace like that working under a little pickup that's up on 2 wheels way more than that and only supported by a couple 2x4s ...scary! Tried to find it on the net, no luck.

Every year it seems i subject my poor old pickup to hauling some strange loads.
last fall (2010) it became the pennsyltucky Air truck. This year, it's the pennsyltucky paddlewheeler ... ))) Just rolled in off of a 300 mile haul across Route 80 with that thing....

For the Breaking Bad fans. This is parked in a lot right behind the Carwash Walt worked at in season 1 then later bought in season 4. The series is filmed right here in Abq, NM.

I was gonna say it may have been real, but if you look at the rally support truck's rear tires, i think it's actually the truck that was p-shopped in.

20 to 1 says he's a scrapper and that puppy is hooked to the center seatbelt through the missing rear window. pull in to the yard, the magnet grabs it, he pops the straps and away it goes. Given that i have one, those GMC/CHev k series truck beds have nothing from the factory in terms of anchor points. My neighbor the scrapper also has one that's dang near identical to the one in the picture, dents and all ....$100 truck that's probably moved over a million in metal the past 10 years. I can't believe what gets junked these days vehicle-wise--thankfully the repercussions of cash for clunkers is largely gone and the used car market will come back down in average price in the next 2-5 years
