Default Anyone ever made their own fenders?

The GTR needs fenders. To tell you the truth, they are pretty expensive. Seems to me if I could find a sheet of plastic, I should be able to make my own. Anyone ever done it?

Ha, thats funny!
I don't have a link but I was going to mention a 55 gal rubbermaid trashcan.
Had a buddy make a set, front and rear, out of one can and it matched the color of his buggy :-)

I'm going to do it this weekend. I am willing to bet that rubbermaid will hold up a heck of a lot better than these crappy stock fenders.

I tried to make some once out of a piece of sheet metal for my old Manco, but they looked like crap. I took them off.
