Talking well......

i think i am temporarily going to get out of my buggy, as sad as it sounds. i found a reasonably good trade on an 04 arctic cat 500 4x4 atv.... i dislike getting things used already, but im going to look it over VERY CAREFULLY. seems legit though. eventually though, later on would be to find a good 250cc buggy frame, and begin a new franken buggy with this AC powertrain. i also found out, just last week that my wife and I are finally pregnant with our first child on the way! already day dreaming of having him/her behind the wheel of these buggys gets me giddy, lol.

I think ATV's and dirtbikes lead most of us to the buggy craze. I to am thinking of getting an ATV once again, but to do a complete restore. Congratulations on the soon to be expected. My middle child who is special needs led me to sell my dirt bikes and get a buggy. He and my other two children, along with my ol'lady love the buggy. So it will stay.
Best of luck to you and make sure you let us know how it all works out.
I notice you are in southern Illinois. My brother lives in Florence and says the riding there is fun.

Congrats bates. My first turns 2 in a few days, and all I can say is, hold on. Whole life changes, and I didn't realize it till about a year ago. Could not imagine my life any other way than it is now. And yes, my boy is an adrenaline junkie, like his ol'man.

lol my last name is bates, so i grew up with that nickname. so things have changed. im not going for the AC 500 , i found a lil better deal closer to home. i will be picking up saturday a 250 recon,as well as a 250 trailblazer. the trailblazer will make a good candidate for a franken buggy and gain a good diehard honda to boot! now to just keep my eyes peeled for a good buggy frame. 2 birds 1 stone. cant pass it up!

There are piles of recons around here for sale, if only I knew an inexpensive way to adapt to a buggy, I would have bought one a while ago.
