Default hh250ss stator info....if interested.

i've done some investigating on the stator facts on the hammerhead 250ss. i'm by no means a math whiz but not a complete doofus either......lol
bear with me......
i've had it verified that the stator on the 250ss is 18 poles. i also found a chart that shows a 12v. 18 pole stator for a honda 250 having an output of 180 watts and the chart shows that 12v is equal to 12 watts and 12 watts are is equal to one amp soooooooooo. if my stator is putting out 180watts then that should convert to 15 amps. if this is all true then i should have no problems with lighting while my buggy is running. i know that the 15 amps is taking care of other things too but that sounds like a decent amount of power to work with.
just thought i would pass this on to those with the hammerheads.

Seems to me the stator on a HH250 is pretty decent for handling some extra lights.

oh yea chuck, i speak all kinds of crazy languages.....truckinese, hickinese, japanese (you have to if you own a buggy), drunkinese, etc.

Ron,
i'm running (4) LED lights. two in front and two on top of the cage. they draw a total of about 5 amps and put out some nice bright, white light.

The 250 stator has plenty capasity for lights. All it does is run acessories, charge the battery and supplying ignition power.
