Default reverse kit for crossfire 150

I got my reverse kit in the mail today from BD. Ordered it last Sunday and was never told if it shipped or not. sent an email to them day before yesterday and rec: no reply back. I think there may be some parts missing but I'm not sure since there is no packing list or parts list included. the installation directions on their site is very vague, so I hope I will be able to figure it out. AND NOW FOR THE REALLY BAD NEWS, for those of you thinking of getting one, The price has gone up to $249.

I got the same treatment from them. No instructions for the ball joints. Found out later that they don't just bolt in. Had a member on here email the instructions. I think BD has good products, but lack in follow through with customer service.

zman, please upload some pics for the reverse kit! I saw it's at 249...maybe it'll go down by the time I can afford it

what do you mean by the ball joints aren't just "bolt in?"

Fox the price was at $199 and it just went back up to $249, it may be a while before it goes back down if ever. Not a whole lot of things are going down price wise.

The original price was $299, I am surprised they held that price for this long.

The ball joints have a dimple in the casting, indicating the front and back of the joint. If you install incorrectly, the joint has 1/2 the movement it is supposed to, and if you break it that way, good luck getting them to warranty them.

you know it seems like the prices haven't gone down but customer service sure has, and its times like this that keeps customers coming back when you have good support.

In these times I am more than willing to pay more for something when I know I will get good customer support, and especially when I talk to someone other than Habib.

Well, right now they have that portion of the market cornered, so I guess they can do what they want.

zman, how's the reverse going? Got any pics? I'm looking to do it (especially after taking my spiderbox on a tight trail today, I see why it's necessary for these things...) but I'm not 100% sure.

no pics yet. I have to clean up my other building so I will be able to get it inside. may be a while.I sent BD an email yesterday saying there were parts missing from the nut and bolt bag.according to their directions there are supposed to be longer bolts and spacers for the sprocket and there's not any. The bag wasn't sealed in any way and the shipping box was intact when I got it After looking at their poor instructions on how to install it, there is a few parts in there, that I have no idea where they go.
