Default Yerf Dog 3205 - Belt issue & Suspension

Hey everyone, new to the Go Kart world but had a couple questions.

1. I go through belts quite frequently. I do notice that the torque converter driven and driver are slightly off and not in line with each other. That would explain why one side of the belt wears quickly, right? Is the solution just to add some sort of spacer to get the extra couple centimeters to make it line up?

2. I'm not sure on the proper wording here - but where the front part of the frame and the back part of the frame connect with a large bolt on each side. This part is obviously designed to flex a bit with the suspension, but mine seems really loose. Should that be pretty tight?

Sorry if these are silly questions, just trying to learn.

Thanks!
